Step 1 — Before Your First Appointment

How to Set Up Your Patient Portal & Complete Online Intake Forms

All new patients are required to complete the patient portal before their first appointment. This short video walks you through every step — start here.

Before Your Appointment

Drink plenty of water the day before and the morning of your session
Wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing
Bring any surgical notes, post-op instructions, or compression garments your surgeon provided
Avoid heavy meals in the 1–2 hours before your session
Let us know about any medications, allergies, or recent health changes

During Your Session

Your first session begins with a thorough intake consultation. Eva will review your health history, surgical notes (if applicable), current symptoms, and goals. MLD is performed with very light, rhythmic pressure — it should never be painful or feel like deep tissue massage.

After Your Session

Drink extra water to support lymphatic flushing
Mild fatigue or more frequent urination is normal — a sign the session worked
Avoid strenuous activity for the rest of the day
Follow any home care instructions Eva provides
